The Brief |
To design full engineering services for a modern
distribution unit with through flow docks which provide a
highly automated fast flow distribution unit on a fast track
construction programme i.e. 10 months from design to
completion.

Site Specifics |
The site was an old Airfield site and comprised the final
phase of Heywood Business Park which had site high pressure
sprinkler mains and HV distribution. Ground
condition was poor and needed remediation.

Services |
Included lighting in aisles, hibay lighting, roof and
in-rack sprinklers, jet venture heating and ventilation,
guided rail fork trucks, smoke vent, fire detection, full IT
and LAN networks, garage, vehicle wash, fuel station and
energy centre.
