INTRODUCTION TO THE PRACTICE IWA was formed in 1979 by Ian White to practice as Chartered Consulting Engineers in the fields of Building Services and Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. It is the aim of this practice to provide sound design technology from the inception of a project to ensure that the final result will be the optimum with regard to form function, comfort, capital cost and running cost. The practice moved to new premises in 1989 and again in 2000 due to continued expansion and the need for more space, but still retains a personal service to clients, the majority of whom are of long standing with continuous commissions. IWA implements Quality Control Standards to ISO 9000 (formally BS 5750) IWA are members of the Association of Consulting Engineers. IWA are on the "Constructionline"
